POV & Content

[edit]

This article has some POV issues. "... is called by God to become a preacher." for example. Also what does the date of birth and his history have to do with the broadcasting network. It should be on a page about him. —A 06:01, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have never found a regular full accounting of this charity. None of the charity watchdogs even list feedthehungry.org. Pete Sumrall also controls a for profit corporation known as Making Healthy Choices {MHC} which is a vitamin based organization.

Currently MHC is being pedalled non-stop on a supposedly faith-based 501-C-3 World Harvest Television.

I would appreciate seeing any input regarding their new product called "Mineral Concentrate." Claims have been made that Fulvic Acid which is a brown textile dye[*1] is the ultimate "Electrolyte."

World Harvest Radio has rates beginning at over $100 a month to broadcast over a short wave transmitter in various markets world wide. However when I called the phone number for WHR, I was greeted by a prerecorded message. Apparently they did not care for my nasal twang because they never called me back.

World Harvest Television

[edit]

As far as I can tell, World Harvest Television and the LeSEA television network are one in the same. Should these be merged? AlexDW 00:17, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merged. -- AlexDW 15:11, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As Wikipedia is about facts, I believe the author should be careful in his writing and not stating his PERSONAL opinion. "As a general source of news the program would be considered both weak and biased." It is this type of comment that leaves people with a bad taste of the "accurate facts" found in Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.244.116.71 (talk) 02:21, August 27, 2007 (UTC)
