No military in Iceland

[edit]

Gays cannot serve in the military since there is none. Otherwise same rights apply for any public service.

Blood donation

[edit]

I corrected the last item in the summary table. Gay and bisexual men are not allowed to give blood in Iceland. The source that was cited was written in 2021 and was about the then Health Minister's proposal to legalize MSM blood donations. The source mentions that this would become law in 2022 and then this article seemingly just assumed this would be the case. After the cited article was written there was an election and now there's a new Health Minister who has not followed through on his predecessor's proposal. MSM blood donation remains illegal in Iceland. 2A01:6F02:30B:C971:103:A88C:5B06:B0E5 (talk) 00:41, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
