Fair use rationale for Image:Kosslogo.gif

[edit]

Image:Kosslogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Upvote this link if you came here from Blade Runner, because Koss bought product placement in the movie. I must note, however, that this article rates on the quality scale as if it was written by one of the slower Koss cousins. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.211.220.174 (talk) 04:19, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Should there be a small paragraph in the history of the company, or even as a small separate section about this? While it doesn't affect the company that much, the short squeeze did also take Koss's stock to more than double it's highest point it has ever been. - Larcondos (talk) 13:48, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Larcondos[reply]

Names wrong, SP-3, SP-3X, SP/3XC

[edit]

The appearance and names of the first stereo headphones are retconned by Koss.

What's shown now as the SP/3 is just a SP-3 prototype, never sold.

What's shown as SP/3X are SP-3 (raw, actual sold models) and SP-3X (smooth, grey and brown available). They mix both in the presentation.

The slash nomenclature wasn't introduced until the SP/3XC (dark brown), which started to be sold as SP-3XC but was later sold as SP/3XC.
