The article, of course, is frankly anti-Russian biased, much like the articles about the Caucasian war, firstly, there is no evidence that the Russians really wanted to take and join Khiva, not in 1602, when free Cossacks made three raids on Khiva or in 1717, when Alexander Bekovich-Cherkassky attacked Khiva, and even during 1839-1840, and not in 1873, and so most of the campaigns were in response to the raids of the Khiva Khanate Цйфыву (talk) 13:12, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
