The term "Ancient Manipur" is highly problematic to refer directly to Ancient Kangleipak because unlike the unanimous officially recognized title of the Northeast Indian state of Manipur, there was another well established famous ancient kingdom called Manipur (often referred to as "Ancient Manipur") mentioned in the world's longest written epic Mahabharata. It's a common misconception that Ancient Manipur is just the common name of Ancient Kangleipak because of the fame of the ancient eponymous kingdom mentioned in the Mahabharata. In my opinion, it's best to keep the article's title as it is to avoid readers' confusion. Haoreima (talk) 18:19, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
