Fantasy or Moral Allegory?

As an avid fan of James Branch Cabell's works, I cannot understand why they are regularly classified as works of "fantasy", rather than as works of moral allegory, as I believe they truly are, in the medieval tradition to which they very blatantly refer. one procedural view: The "Fantasy Task Force" is one of few in WP:Novels, not many. I don't know the history but I know scads of archetypal science fiction novels are "claimed" for fantasy in this way, and not marked for the science fiction task force or project. pronunciation

Does anyone know whether Jurgen is supposed to be pronounced in the German way (Jürgen) with a Y-sound or the English way with a J-sound?
