Mr. Jim Backus and his wife Henny (Hunny) never had children together, Mr. Backus had two children from an affair While working on contractdurring the 1940's and 1950's at Warner Bros Inc. Jim Backus became close friends with Howard Roy Winterbottom a Set and Art Designer/Director on contract at Warner Bros. Productions© credits (Movie: flamingo road with Joan Crawford 1949) an Married to Gladys Winterbottom. Winterbottm’s adopted daughter Opal Marie (Bunny) who was a close friend after her divorce in 1959 to Mr. Backus, became friends involve in a private relationship with Mr. Backus, from 1959 to 1963 in Glendale California. So, am I missing something? The "Early Life Section" has these two statements in it: "James Gilmore Backus was born February 25, 1913 in Cleveland, Ohio" and "Backus was born in Caldwell NJ; his family left for Ohio when he was age 4." So, which is it?
