Midwife
[edit]What is the source of her being a certified midwife? Daphoenyx (talk) 13:28, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
Add a picture.
[edit]hey I don't know how to add a picture. Can you guys please add this picture http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lSnS_XqW0HQ/T7sAbW9B0VI/AAAAAAAACXI/Q39ZbYJqBS8/s1600/jill.jpg
Why does Jill Duggar get her own page? Can't this be on the 19 kids and counting page? If she absolutely has to have her own page, then doesn't why don't her siblings have their own pages? Her eldest brother works for a lobbying organization and his worked on several campaigns. I would think that as or noteworthy than maybe being a certified midwife and co-writing a book with her sisters (it was actually ghostwritten, by the way).

- I uploaded an image of Josh Duggar, taken from a 2007 file (sent by Jim Bob Duggar), featured on his article. Since the image shows Jill as well, I am planning to upload images of Jill and Jessa. Be sure to check the copyright information before uploading it and do not upload it without being absolutely sure it is licensed under a free license (or released into the public domain). There are a few problems here
[edit]I believe that the user who created this page (and Jessa's too) only created it to write about the information of the molestation scandal. These girls' pages were not here on Wikipedia before this all came out, and the section which talks about Jill's encounter with the issue seems inappropriate and uncivil. This needs to be either left out, or written in a different way so it is not so direct and blatant (a link that leads directly to the heading of this scandal on the 19 Kids and Counting's page is acceptable). This is not a page to spread current issues to the public. It is a page that gives information about this person, and any content that is not professional or civil will be removed.
Any questions please reply to me on here. Thank you.

- Actually, this article was created in October 2014. StAnselm (talk) 01:12, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
- I wish it hadn't been, StAnselm. As far as I'm concerned this needs to be in the main article, in three sentences or less. Goes for the others as well. We're supposed to be an "encyclopedia". Drmies (talk) 02:15, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
June 2023 Update
[edit]Based on how Jill talks about herself in the recent documentary about her family, "television personality" seems misleading as she describes how she was not paid for her appearances. I've updated her bio to describe her as an author based on the fact at she's published one book and has one coming out next year. EdHistory101 (talk) 15:59, 2 June 2023 (UTC)
- I added "and former television personality," since that's really what's she's most notable for. BubbaJoe123456 (talk) 19:05, 2 June 2023 (UTC)
