Did he see service as Republican fighter pilot in Spain? Peck's statements are controversial

The Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archive records that Peck never flew in Spain. His claims were put into question in 1978 by an aviation historian. Another American pilot in the Spanish Republican Air Force doubted of Peck's claimings too.
