[edit]There is an ongoing discussion about this image at Wikipedia:Images_and_media_for_deletion#Image:Jalaluddin_Haqqani.jpg. If you want to present the information you have uncovered there, that would be helpful. __meco (talk) 15:13, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
The Other Side
[edit]In Haqqani network and Jalaluddin Haqqani topics, i found only fake allegations. And a common sentence used is, "they supposed to be guilty". According to the details Haqqanies have no link with talibaans, they only defended their nation against soviets, then why have their innocent family members been killed? isn't it a terrorism? isn't it a violation of human rights? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.59.80.153 (talk) 05:02, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
This may have already been addressed, but the image on the profile is that of Haqqani's old mentor Yunus Khalis who has passed away. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Junaidnoori (talk • contribs) 19:25, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
DOB?
[edit]I have been finding conflicting information on Jalaluddin's date of birth. This article currently puts it at around 1950, which is in line with this source, but other sites say that he was born in 1935 or is frail and in his 70s. Clearly, it can't be both so who do we trust?--RDavi404 (talk) 16:11, 18 October 2011 (UTC) It was said on the BBC Radio Four series Last Word on September 16 2018 that when he died, his age at the time of his death was unknown - presumably, because his date of birth was not known. New edits to lead and body
[edit]@Mazhain: You restored[1] praises like "U.S. praise and was called "goodness personified" by the U.S. officials", "U.S. former president, Ronald Reagan called Jalaluddin Haqqani a "freedom fighter" during Afghan Soviet war" and more are WP:UNDUE and don't belong to the article. You are possibly not going to add the contrary. Orientls (talk) 13:25, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
