Interstate 57 forwarded as combination on 7th November 2024 directly after US presidential elections
[edit]It seems to include 3 different parts between Little Rock, AR and Sikeston, MO: – Redesignation of 112 mile existing freeway part by changing numbering on Arkansas – Start of construction on 45 mile remaining part on Arkansas – Putting completion of small Southeast Missouri gap on pipeline
Worth notable is that it seems to be biggest Interstate Highway project forwarded simultaneosly after 1992 when network was declared ready and first long highway stretch on USA after multiple countries started making similar as combination. Tiemestari (talk) 15:54, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
Citations added
[edit]I've replaced multiple dead citations as well as those that are self-published sources with better ones or citations that are needed. There's still one citation talking about the link of I-57 with I-70 that I can't seem to find. Anybody want to help with that? NoobThreePointOh (talk) 15:09, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
Exit list notes
[edit]Before the designation of the Arkansas segment, the exit list notes consistently used the word "concurrency" and not "overlap". This is also consistent with the key at the bottom of the table which uses "concurrency". When the Arkansas segment was added, it was initially a copy/paste that used "overlap", but it was changed to be consistent with the long-standing content. Any further change of wording should be discussed.
As a second issue, the adjectives are being changed in a manner that makes them inconsistent. Descriptions of highway termini use "southern", etc., but the descriptions of concurrency termini are being changed to "south", etc., which is not consistent. Again, this is a situation that was consistent previous to the addition of the Arkansas content and should remain so.
Lastly, there have been changes made against MOS:RJL and past precedents that specify that the reason for the coloration of a row in an exit list comes first in the notes. Those edits need to stop as well.
Please discuss. Imzadi 1979 → 21:36, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
