Sources

[edit]

I have removed the tag requesting all sources to be cited. According to WP:V, a reliable, published source is required for "all material that is challenged or likely to be challenged". This article contains an infobox, a tracklisting and personnel. So far it contains no material likely to be challenged. Grimhim (talk) 01:39, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see no challenge, just tagging. Do you have an real belief that the information is wrong? It doesn't appear to be, so I've removed the tags again. Wikidemo (talk) 11:10, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Wikipedia:Verifiability say:
"The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. "Verifiable" in this context means that readers should be able to check that material added to Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source. Editors should provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is challenged or is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed.
Wikipedia:Verifiability is one of Wikipedia's core content policies."? Blast Ulna (talk) 11:15, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment

Start class:
  • Green tickY A reasonably complete infobox
  • Red XN A lead section giving an overview of the album: current sentence and a half is hardly a WP:Lead section.
  • Green tickY A track listing
  • Green tickY Reference to at least primary personnel by name (must specify performers on the current album; a band navbox is insufficient)
  • Green tickY Categorisation at least by artist and year

C class:

  • Red XN All the start class criteria
  • Green tickY A reasonably complete infobox, including cover art
  • Red XN At least one other section of prose (in addition to the lead section)
  • Green tickY A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs
  • Green tickY A "personnel" section listing performers, including guest musicians.
  • Red XN Independent in-line references supporting major/controversial claims

B class:

  • Red XN All the C class criteria
  • Green tickY A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
  • Red XN A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
  • Red XN No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources.
  • Red XN No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 01:32, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
