[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because they have been nominated for the 2010 New Zealand Music Awards Critics Choice Prize and are hence critically successful and well known! Do they meet any of the criteria listed at WP:BAND? (even just one is fine)

Hi Spitfire, yes I think the band meets the first criteria, as they have received coverage in reputable publications. For instance, the above article at stuff.co.nz, and this article about them on the 3news website - http://www.3news.co.nz/Homebrew-Crew-thrilled-to-be-playing-at-Big-Day-Out/tabid/418/articleID/191676/Default.aspxBallofstring (talk) 22:59, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome. In that case, go for it. I recommend geting the 3news link into the article as a reference asap, as well as trying to find some other articles. Once you do get the 3news reference in the article it'll probably be beyond both speedy deletion (well, it already is) and (just about) prod, but I'm not sure it'd survive an AfD, so trying to fufill as many of the other criteria as possible is a good idea. Home Brew or Home Brew Crew?

[edit]

Is the group's official name Home Brew or Home Brew Crew? Everywhere I see them mentioned, it's just Home Brew. Should it be changed to this? Robyn2000 (talk) 09:46, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
