The View from the Oak

[edit]

A year 2000 edition of this 1978 award-winning title is listed in the Partial Bibliography. I don't know whether it had been revised. The award date implies but doesn't prove 1977 publication year. We say 1976 in the narrative.

The bibliography --whether partial or merely incomplete!-- should be either chronological by first edition or alphabetical by title or organized partly by subject. --P64 (talk) 20:29, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

— The German is only a nameholder but the one linked work is by our Judith Kohl, a translation of The View from the Oak. (Ravensburg: Maier, 1983)
  • Judith Kohl at LC Authorities — with 5 catalog records [now one of the listed External links]
— There LC reports 1977 and 1988 printings of one (c)1977 edition published by Sierra Club Books.
LC catalog records two Kohl & Kohl collaborations

Use of the name "Herb"

[edit]

He should be referred to as "Kohl" or "Dr. Kohl", not the informal "Herb". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.86.184.2 (talk) 03:03, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reorganizing article with subsections

[edit]

In order to meet Wikipedia standards, I've been working on providing inline citations for the article. I will also be implementing additional subsections (e.g. Education; Career; Non-Profit; Awards and Honors) in order to bring the article to higher Wikipedia standards -- I am doing this as part of an online Wikipedia writing class. If anyone has any concerns or can direct me to credible 3rd party sources I can use for citations in addition to what is already listed, please do not hesitate to make comments here or contact me via my Talk page. Thanks. Camellia wagashi (talk) 06:02, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What sources would you be using? And I'd recommend beginning with an "Early life" section. Is this course registered with the Wikipedia Education Program? czar  12:42, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
