Re: A writing journal kept by Jack Kerouac in preparation for writing On the Road
[edit]According to the article, the Harry Ransom Center possess "a writing journal kept by Jack Kerouac in preparation for writing On the Road". According to On the Road#Origins, "in the spring of 2008 [the original manuscript] visited the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center". ie. the Harry Ransom does not at all own the original manuscript - is that what this article is referring to when it refers to the "writing journal" or is it referring to something else?
