[edit]

There is an error in the article. "An European" should be "A European". The "Eu" sounds somewhat like a long-vowel U. People obviously didn't know that there was an exception to the a/an convention long vowel convention. --TheSamurai 02:35, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)

  • Why not fix the error and explain it in the edit summary? androidtalk 05:06, Apr 15, 2005 (UTC)

Confused

[edit]

Can someone put which album the tracks refer to right next to "Track Listing" for each release, please?

Fair use rationale for Image:AceofBaseHappyNationAlbumcover.jpg

[edit]

Image:AceofBaseHappyNationAlbumcover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:17, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Billboard 200 boxes

[edit]

I think that the Billboard 200 boxes for The Sign would fit better under the Charts section rather than the See Also section. They were under the Charts section before, but when that section was expanded, they were moved down the page. --Classicrockfan42 (talk) 17:04, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Top 100 US?

[edit]

There reads: The Sign is listed among the Top 100 Bestselling Albums of All Time by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
However, List of best-selling albums in the United States has over 100 albums that are 10× Platinum -certified in the US. Plus, Happy Nation 7.5 million "only" even when the Music Club sales are counted. 82.141.74.33 (talk) 18:02, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sales

[edit]

Hello (and sorry in advance for my bad english),

I just saw on the Wikipedia page of the album « Happy Nation/The Sign » that the album seems to have reached 23 millions sales, but I remember that I saw on some websites that the album have reached the 25 millions.

For example, in this interview of Jonas Berggren, he said: « in 1995 it had sold 23.5 million already. Now many years later we have reached 25 million ».

There is also this video on their official YouTube channel, and the information was also announced on their official website.

I don't know if these sources are fairly reliable, but I wanted to point it out.

Thank you,

Remastered version?

[edit]

Does anybody know when the remastered version was released? The iTunes page has 1993, but that's the year of the original album, and usually the remasters are done several years later. 91.154.188.185 (talk) 22:55, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

US #1?

[edit]

This is listed as being the US #1. However, there is no sales figures for US. Did this version even ever chart in the US? At least The Sign (album) article tells that was their debut in North America. So, the number one should have been after that. I doubt it.
But if the Billboard chart page actually gives #1 to this, I'm ok with that. I can't access the charts, it only says "0 Chart", and "chart history" is grayed out. 91.154.188.185 (talk) 16:19, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
