Clean up

[edit]

One review by "dan" (on killthenoise.net) doesn't establish that an EP has "garnered positive critical acclaim". The punktastic link (http://www.punktastic.com/news/12307) is to a press release written by the band. This doesn't establish notability according to Wikipedia criteria and could be seen as advertising spam so I've removed both copies of it. I've also removed, for a second time, the advertising spam link to the non-notable record label which you seem intent on publicising. The upcoming tour doesn't need a reference and some wikipedia editors would judge it to be advertising spam but I've left it in. The BBC link is excellent. But I'll warn you that UK local radio probably doesn't establish notability even though it hints at possible future notability. I've also copy edited the current article for things such as style and capitalisation. I hope to see this article improve further in the future. Well, allow me to retort!

[edit]

No, just kidding. All fair points. I only really referenced the tour as proof that the band are in fact touring with the Voodoo Glow Skulls (thus upping notability, surely?).

Yes and I did ask for a reference there. A non-commercial ref would be better but I understand that might be impossible. Be aware that another editor might have a different attitude towards that link though. Random Passer-by 18:42, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If you know which Radio 1 programme the EP was broadcast on then you can find the web address of the show's playlist page and use the wayback machine to find a playlist which lists the EP. If you have no idea what I'm talking about then look at the Wikipedia page on reviving dead external links or ask me. Random Passer-by 21:36, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i was asking one of the guys after their gig last night why they didn't play 'don't be a menace to king kong...' as its the only song i know by them, and apparently they're dropping almost all the old songs to work on new ones because of the big line up change. this may help someone put in some more detail. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.23.56.12 (talk) 12:33, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
