This is my 3rd attempt to create a listing about this group. I took the style for the first paragraph from a group page that IS allowed on Wikipedia in an attempt to emphasize the relevancy of the group. They are active politically against war and we are at a time of war. And they meet on a regular basis in the city for war protests and i have images of that i want to add to this page.

Creating this article is not a conflict of interest for me as I am not a member of the organization. This group is socially relevant.

I would ask that I be allowed to edit the article to the satisfaction of those objecting to it so it can be left on the site.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Leftylib (talkcontribs)

Take a look at Google News Search [1] for this group, and you find over 140 articles about it. I recommend citing the best of those to source the article and prove notability. Edison (talk) 23:52, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok...I will work on developing and citing the entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.224.12.248 (talk) 05:31, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Granny Peace Brigade - NYC I'd like to move the article to Granny Peace Brigade--Samuel J. Howard (talk) 09:45, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. Unnecessary and non-standard disambiguation. They're never known by the existing article name as far as I can see, and this one article should be enough to cover both the New York and Philadelphia branches. Andrewa (talk) 15:28, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion

I'd also propose that we undelete the seven earlier edits to the article under the proposed new name, as the easiest way to satisfy the GFDL if we want to merge in the previous content, covering the Philadelphia branch for example. Andrewa (talk) 15:28, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
