Johannes von Rönge was a protestant pioneer, as far as I know. I have no quotable sources though.

Laurahütte near the Polish border

[edit]

"Ronge... was then a schoolmaster at Laurahütte near the Polish border": as Poland was partitioned at that time this can't be correct. Is the Prussian/Russian border or the Prussian/Austro-Hungarian border intended perhaps? Mutt Lunker (talk) 13:41, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This comes from the American Cyclopaedia which I introduced. Since the location of the town can be readily ascertained through its link, I think the information objected to can just be excluded, and I will do so. Bob Burkhardt (talk) 13:53, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

==Re: rating== The material from EB1911 is nicely organized, so differently from the way it appears in EB1911 that it looks like it came from another source sometimes. There is material that goes beyond EB1911, “New Catholics” is what I notice, and nowhere is it indicated where it comes from. All the Bibliography material is just what is cited in EB1911. @Chicbyaccident: when you moved this article from German Catholics to German Catholics (sect) and changed the redirect of the former to point to Catholic Church in Germany, you left this article without any incoming links. Could you please go through Special:WhatLinksHere/German Catholics and change the links that refer to the Independent Catholic sect so they point to this article? Also, several redirects that currently point to Catholic Church in Germany should probably point here instead. Could you fix those too, please? Thanks! —Mahāgaja (formerly Angr) · talk 20:50, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, don't know how to do that, but please help. Chicbyaccident (talk) 08:47, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I've fixed as many links as I could find, but maybe you should refrain from moving pages without leaving a redirect if you don't know to clean it up. —Mahāgaja (formerly Angr) · talk 10:37, 16 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
