Tertiary section

The mention of 2 million years ago in the Tertiary makes no sense, at least with the formally accepted defintion of the modern Quaternary which now places the start at 2.6 million years ago. Tertiary is also out of favour now and might better be replaced by Palaeogene and Neogene]]. cheers Geopersona (talk) 06:19, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
