Hangon rationale
[edit]It is my contention that this work meets the criteria for albums, singles and songs due to its coverage in a wide variety of electronic publications, most notably MTV.com and Star Wars Blog.com. These sites are reliable sources that are independent of the subject.
If it is Wikipedia’s contention that these publications are not reliable, I would ask then what publications they do deem reliable, and I would then ask whether these publications typically cover geek related subject matter. Furthermore, if there are no geek oriented publications which meet Wikipedia's standards, I would be forced to conclude that Wikipedia is demonstrating a prejudicial bias against geek culture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by NorthernDragon (talk • contribs) 13:38, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
- You probably want to post this at the AFD discussion page as well. Yoenit (talk) 14:02, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
List of references
[edit]I fixed some stuff in the list of references recently merged into the article, but there are several problems with it. By far the most important one right now is that it seems to be original research, which goes against the very basics of wikipedia. We are only allowed to rephrase what reliable sources say, not draw our own conclusions based on the lyrics. Unless a source happens to mention the lot of them I therefore propose we trim the list to the references that are mentioned by the sources and turn them into prose instead of a list. - Agreed. I'm deleting it from the article. The entire thing needs to be restructured anyway. -AngusWOOF (talk) 20:24, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
