Wyoming

[edit]

This article asserts that by 1960, an anti-sodomy law was on the books in every state (a referenced assertion). Yet, in the LGBT rights in Wyoming article, it stands that Wyoming is the only state that never enacted sodomy as a "crime". Which factoid is correct?- Gilliam (talk) 09:32, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article issues

[edit]

The titling is overbalanced at best, the content shouldn't be split into decades, and I'm running out of words to describe the current revision of this article. --George Ho (talk) 07:57, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Articles should not be split unless needed, per WP:Split; I see no need for a split in this case. Flyer22 (talk) 11:19, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I wasn't saying split. I should have said that there are too many sections. --George Ho (talk) 21:48, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected links on History of gay men in the United States which have been added to the blacklist, either globally or locally. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed or are highly inappropriate for Wikipedia. Alternatively, you may request that the link is removed from or altered on the blacklist locally or globally. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. Please do not remove the tag until the issue is resolved. You may set the invisible parameter to "true" whilst requests to white-list are being processed. Should you require any help with this process, please ask at the help desk.

Unsourced Material

[edit]

Please note that in order to claim someone on the list of notable gay men, there needs to be at least one source cited per individual, per Wikipedia policy, Particularly if that person is still living. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed. 2605:A601:4515:F400:3917:93CA:F6FE:55C (talk) 05:14, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of History of gay men in the United States's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 04:47, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
