Agnomen Sesquiculus?
[edit]I read in a couple of places that he also had the agnomen "sesquiculus", which means "an arsehole and a half" (sesqui - one and a half). Does anyone know an original source for this, or why? Sasha 11:54, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
I've read in some sources that Strabo Vopiscus created the Straight family (English for Strabo in german language) which in turn created the Anglo Saxon Straet family that begot the Strete family to Streate to Street. Also Straet stands for Roman Road where the Straet ancestor lived on the Streets.--Kylests 17:25, 10 August 2006 (UTC)Kyle Mackenzie Street
I read in a historical novel (The First Man in Rome, by Colleen McCoullough) that he developed an anorectal fistula, and that that fact, combined with the fact that he was apparently an unpleasant person, led a wit to say that he was such an arsehole that he had more than one, and call him Sesquiculus as a nickname.
