Possible mistake
[edit]This portion seems to be a minor mistake "which should touch the ground if the horse is standing on soft footing" The frog should always touch the ground during landing, regardless of soft or hard surfaces. It also provides cushioning which is not really need on soft footing, but on hard one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amrbc (talk • contribs) 18:17, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
- On concrete with shoes, the frog does not touch the ground when the horse is at a standstill. Montanabw(talk) 03:26, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
