WikiProject class rating

[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one article was rated and this bot brought all the other ratings up to at least that level. BetacommandBot 03:19, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Two sources I read on these aircraft in Congo between 1961-64 paint a different picture from what is being portrayed in this sentence. The UN force was a multi-national force with aircraft from many other countries besides Sweden and Ethiopia. Also, no combat engagement between this aircraft and UN aircraft seems to have happened. It appears the only remaining aircraft was destroyed on the ground by IAF Canberras. I move to delete this sentence or rephrase it completely to eliminate a POV that somehow the sabres and Swedish aircraft where engaged in combat with these aircraft and emerged superior.

The unusual tail

[edit]

deserves comment and perhaps a link to an explanation or discussion. THere was a Cessna that had that arrangement as well. Midgley (talk) 22:19, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The V-tail is simply about less drag, nothing else. I can't recall one single Cessna of any model that had it! Several versions of Beechcraft Bonanza had it though! --Towpilot (talk) 05:20, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We need a reliable published source that Turkey operated the aircraft, per WP:RS. BilCat (talk) 00:38, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
