Reason for hangon tag
[edit]I created this page due to a photo request from WikiProject: Oregon. The content will be fleshed out within 48 hours. Tedder (talk) 01:40, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- I second Tedder's "hangon." The photo was requested at WikiProject Oregon, in a discussion involving several people. This is a notable Portland landmark, with media coverage. Speedy deletion here would be counterproductive. -Pete (talk) 01:50, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Sources for expansion
[edit]- Tribune article from '06 talks about green building goal, anticipated LEED cert.
- Tribune article from '07, "most energy-efficient historical renovation project in the country"
- [1] Lots of info about old historical events from Portland Center Stage website
- [2] Google cache of apparently dead "Voices of the Armory" website...lots of good nuggets
DYK
[edit]Note, this article is very close to being long enough for a feature on WP:DYK. If we can expand it a little in the next day or so, we should be able to get it mentioned on the front page of Wikipedia. -Pete (talk) 18:23, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- It's about 2000 characters (with spaces) now, so it's technically long enough, though a bit more expansion wouldn't hurt. I'll remove the stub tag. Maybe the LEED certification for a DYK? --Esprqii (talk) 20:10, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- I left a little comment in the text about my vote for DYK. So no "before" photo? Katr67 (talk) 20:16, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Wow! It made in on DYK ! (June 1,2008) --Tesscass (talk) 01:19, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
