Let's improve the article
[edit]I'm removing these sentences as the first is nonspecific and the second is better suited to article on First Colony Mall, with proper citation for the "drove out of business" assertion.
How many golf courses/artificial lakes/shopping centers of what size? What are the names of these points of interest?
"The community features golf courses, artificial lakes, and a several large shopping centers, including First Colony Mall. First Colony Mall opened in the 1990's, and drove the older nearby Westwood Mall out of business." Tee Owe 07:01, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
The title for this article should not include Sugar Land
[edit]There are two reasons for that this article is mis-titled. Primarily, First Colony was a CDP in the 1990 census, and as such was a peer to Sugar Land which was then a different CDP. Secondly even though First Colony has been deprecated as a CDP in the 2000 census due to annexations, the original boundaries are not wholly contained within Sugar Land. In other words, "in First Colony" does not now automatically mean "in Sugar Land".
I am changing the title back again. If someone wants to revert it yet again, all I ask is that there is an attempt to justify the change. Tee Owe (talk) 17:30, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
