Scores

[edit]

Whats wrong with adding the factually sources musical scores here? If its consistency, we can add it to the others too in a short span of time. This should end soon, and then we can clean and organize it up. As its ongoing, lets please go with the flow for now.

Also per OSE, ,it doesn't have to be the same exactly(Lihaas (talk) 16:53, 9 February 2014 (UTC)).[reply]

I'm removing the music for several reasons:
  1. the information doesn't appear in any other section of the page
  2. it's not given on any other figure skating competition summaries (see for example: 2014 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, Figure skating at the 2010 Winter Olympics - Ladies' singles)
I also don't believe it's relevant information — it's something that belongs on the skaters' individual pages, but not in the article on the competition. Sectori (talk) 17:00, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
See WP:OSE and comment above
Ditto on OSE
It is not for the individual pages as they play different songs in each competition. Each competition then is relevant for the information for that event just as the socored are.(Lihaas (talk) 17:10, 9 February 2014 (UTC)).[reply]
As far as I know that's not true? The reason skaters' pages (e.g. Julia Lipnitskaia list programs they use — because they use the same program in every competition for the season. In which case it would be redundant to mention the music here. Sectori (talk) 17:24, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
She might but ive seen skaters use differen tmusic. Even in the same comopetition (example is gala night) here/. Still though, per OSE because its not there doesnt mean it cant be here.
For example, the olympics and world cups and tennis opens in the pre-WP area dotn have the detail that the recent ones have. WP is changing consistently so we dont have to blindly stick to some pre-determined format.Lihaas (talk) 19:51, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
