[edit]Coloseum Software ( http://www.coloseumsoftware.com/ ) also provides an e4473 application that is approved by the ATF, although there is some controversy regarding intellectual property issues regarding the ATF software. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.150.194.249 (talk) 22:58, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
History?
[edit]When was the form instituted? Other relevant events?
Re Biden case - if it’s deemed necessary to keep it here
[edit]It should be made clear in regards to the rarity of prosecutions of people lying on the form and that it is typically only if felonies occur- the document that has been said to support this- found here https://www.gao.gov/assets/gao-18-440.pdf - seems to only apply to those who lied AND were denied purchase approval…. I haven't gone through the 80 off pages of it but the highlights at the beginning certainly make it look like it applies to that specific combo…. Someone more familiar and knowledgeable with the material and with hunter Biden's case could hopefully take a look into it , especially since Google ai generates the same rarity of prosecution and it also omits the seemingly important qualifier of it applying to cases of applicants who lied and also were denied…
