Blocks such as 1 2 and 3 info on variants?[edit]

Should they be listed, the block III is listed as “Advanced Super Hornet”, but capabilities match those of initial block III proposal. CFTs are no longer being ordered by the US Memelephant (talk) 23:59, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tanker fuel type[edit]

Article says Super Hornets in the tanker role mainly use JP-4, but they do not. They use JP-5 instead and this is well known.

MACH Numbers[edit]

The given Mach number is wrong.

Yes, I know it is sourced from the manufacturer, but they made the mistake to divide the speed by the speed of sound at sea-level, instead of using the values for high altitudes.

Speed of sound at sea-level: 666 kn => Mach 1.6 Speed of sound at altitude: 573 kn => Mach 1.8 2A02:908:1225:C20:8029:E581:7A64:BEBF (talk) 22:23, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
