[edit]Why does the link to the Joxer character page redirects to here???
Um, sure... why not? it's rather redundant as is.--Marhawkman (talk) 12:14, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. I'm actually thinking, merge that here, and then split this into two separate lists. While I get some people think of the shows together and they are set in the same universe, the way the two are linked almost every where really seems to be against Wikipedia guidelines. I'm thinking each show should have one character list, with cross over characters briefly mentioned for their context within their series. What do you think? -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 14:22, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- I dislike that approach. There is a large number of characters that appeared in both. Though those were always recurring characters. I feel a better approach would be to "tag" each entry with text explaining which show it was seen in.--Marhawkman (talk) 05:55, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Comparatively, there isn't really that "large" a number, and those that appeared in both mostly played minor roles in one or the other so they could easily be summarized briefly in one list with appropriate links and notes that they were a cross over from the other (with some possible exceptions being Ares, and some of the other Gods). Either way, though, they are still two separate shows and should be treated as such. Right now, all of the articles are suffering from too much blending. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 13:04, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- IMO blending is inevitable as the two shows share a fictional universe and a timeline. IE they're two viewpoints of the same thing.--Marhawkman (talk) 06:47, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- There is a difference between mild blending and treating them all as the exact same show. They aren't. Otherwise, Star Trek would have one character list as well...same universe and all. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 13:08, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- that's a fair point. but yeah, there's guaranteed to be blending.--Marhawkman (talk) 14:17, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, I know. I just think that way too much is going on, partly as shown by this list and by the large shared template. :P -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 14:47, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- So now what? Squish together than reseperate?--Marhawkman (talk) 11:49, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Or separate and squish together. Could be done in either order really. :) Of course, as bad as the main articles are, this one is probably the issue of lesser concern :( -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 13:30, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm.... I should go and look at that. Soemtime.--Marhawkman (talk) 08:53, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Other Gods
[edit]Dahawk and Mephistopheles aren't gods, some other introduced non-greek gods get no mention, Callisto only became a god briefly, and the angels aside from Callisto aren't given character entries at all. Why not change the category to something like "Other"/"Other Forces"/"Other Supernatural Forces"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.118.8.55 (talk) 04:52, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
