The article has had an update banner for 10 years and also has another cleanup banner. Although everything is sourced and the article is well written, most citations are to UK government sources, which leads me to suspect that it is not including all major viewpoints on the issue as required by WP:NPOV. Furthermore, environmental issues have advanced a lot in the last 10 years and the article doesn't cover that. Should it be reassessed against the criteria? Some of the sources such as http://www.stopheathrowexpansion.com/ I doubt are WP:RS. It would benefit from incorporating independent academic sources, such as perhaps [1][2][3][4][5][6]

- This was an effort from early in my Wikipedia career, and since then my interests have moved on. The article clearly needs updating, but I'm afraid I have neither the time nor the inclination to undertake this myself. Factotem (talk) 12:25, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
- It was very well written at the time but I think cannot be rated good now as it lacks recent events such as HS2, Brexit, Heathrow expansion refusal etc.Chidgk1 (talk) 19:18, 20 June 2020 (UTC)
