Potential Plagiarism Issues

Several of the main sentences of this article appear to have been almost directly copied from Mario Garcia's Mexican Americans: Leadership, Identity, & Ideology.

The following sentences or phrases are found on page 152-153 of this book, which is cited as one of the footnotes for the article: 1. "With its emphasis on organizing working-class people, El Congreso adopted various resolutions on labor. It called on all Spanish-speaking agricultural and industrial workers to join unions." 2. "Finally, delegates at the Los Angeles convention stressed an internationalist perspective, especially concerning relations with Mexico and other Latin American nations"

The sentences below appear in this article as of 4.20.2017: 1a. "It's emphasis, however, was on working-class people." 1b. "Resolutions called on workers to join unions" 2. "And, delegates were asked to keep an internationalist perspective that considered relations across Latin America"
