What color is this line and what rail system does it belong to?? Georgia guy 23:43, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
- Its colour is the same as any railway - steel rails, wooden sleepers usually black from their rot-prevention treatment, green/yellow/red/yellow signals, etc. That it is part of British Rail should have been obvious to you if you had followed any of the links. -- RHaworth 22:58, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
The dismantled Skipton to Colne line
[edit]Does anyone know the pattern of services which used to run on the Skipton to Colne line? I suspect that all local stopping services terminated at Colne and the only trains that continued through Colne were long-distance services. I could be wrong. But if I am right, I think the diagram should not depict the stations beyond Colne as they were never considered part of the East Lancs Line. (These stations are depicted in the Leeds and Bradford Extension Railway article.) --Dr Greg (talk) 13:05, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
