The article says that "On 6 August 1920, Lynch resigned his Dáil seat in disgust". See the Dail debates for that date - "The ACTING-PRESIDENT observed that as the letter of resignation was addressed to the people of South-East Cork, the next step in the matter lay with the South-East Cork Executive of Sinn Fein. The Dail, of course, would accept the resignation." So why is he shown in the succession box as a TD until 1921? South East Cork (UK Parliament constituency) does not refer to him resigning. As he (presumably) did not apply for the Chiltern Hundreds, he remained an MP in British law until the UK parliament was dissolved in 1922. However, the online Hansard records him as ceasing to be an MP in 1920. B.M. Walker's 'Parliamentary Election Results in Ireland, 1801-1922, PP 191-2 and 386 does not mention him vacating his seat. I've fixed the Dáil succession box. The Millbank Systems website may not be the most authoritative for details like when he ceased his membership of the House, so I'm inclined to leave it as 1922. Scolaire (talk) 17:06, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
