This page should not be deleted. Delft is a very large township/suburb in Cape Town and figures very prominently in issues relating to the city. It has over 200,000 residents, almost all of whom are poor. It is also on of the first 'integrated' townships as it was created in the late 1980s. There is plenty of information all over the web with regards to its notability and there has been significant research done within the township. This include notability with regards to controversial events such as the N2 Gateway housing occupation which gained prominence both nationally and in international news. There is no good reason why this article should be deleted. If it was an article in the United States, it would be much longer.jaredsacks (talk) 12:34, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality

[edit]

I have nominated this article for POV Check after editing it. See the request by (talk) on the following talk page: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Jaredsacks inkululeko (talk) 12:34, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No one seems to be disputing the neutrality of the article so I assume the POV header can be deleted...

Dutch city names

[edit]

Should it be noted that Delft, Voorburg, Leiden, The Hague, Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Roosenda(a)l also are names of sizeable Dutch cities? This must be more than a mere coincidence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.176.234.128 (talk) 10:22, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
