Would Drop Site News constitute a reliable source?

[edit]

A recent Drop Site News article puts the total casualties at 16 civilians, 6 PA security forces and 1 militant killed.[1] Drop Site News was founded by Jeremy Scahill; a founding editor for The Intercept. However, despite his personal accreditation, Drop Site News was still ultimately recently founded, and is a Substack publication. With these facts taken into consideration, would it follow or break WP:RELIABILITY to use it as a citation for current infobox casualty figures? i think the number of dead militants on the jenin brigad's side should be 10 militants dead not 9 because that's what the source clearly says 83.244.114.214 (talk) 04:05, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

the number of casualties on the militant side

[edit]

the number of casualties on the militant side is wrong the source clearly states that the number of casualties on the militant side is 10 killed not 9 i hope the main editor would change that and thank you 147.189.186.82 (talk) 11:37, 20 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
