[edit]"Guitarist Danny Marino, nephew of guitar legend Frank Marino (of Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush), uses a melodic yet aggressive guitar style, making The Agonist's music both catchy and heavy. The Agonist can also be identified by their creative basslines by Chris Kells, and Simon McKay's intense and energetic drumming."
Very POV; reads like a label promotion. thinkpad20 —Preceding undated comment added 00:25, 15 June 2009 (UTC).
Is it really relevant that Alissa was featured in 'hottest metal chicks' twice in Revolver magazine? Apart from being a useless piece of information it's also messy as I'm sure she appeared in it for many years but all of them aren't mentioned here. Also seems like an advert for Revolver as I'm sure they're not the only rock magazine to have such a worthless award. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C4:B69F:4200:7CBC:5F60:1FA:979B (talk) 21:01, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
Signed
[edit]It seems they have been signed. I don't see any notability issue. futurebird (talk) 04:49, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
I was about to write that same thing. They are signed to Century Media records. http://www.centurymedia.com/us/single_artist.php?ID=80 Laura db85 (talk) 13:43, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Genre Consensus
[edit]Hey, this topic deals with the band's genre to be posted on the page. Keep all genre concerns/arguments/discussion in here. Please note that no original research will be accepted, please present evidence and support to all genre tags put forward. I have placed melodic death metal as the band's genre. The links to support my claim are: this, and if there's any concern about that link's reliability and credibility then my second piece of support comes from here.
