Merger proposals
[edit]I can't see any discussion about a merger between creditor and debt and I am not convinced there is sufficient overlap to merge these: debt is a much wider concept. However, I do think that the material in the Creditor's rights stub article could helpfully be merged into the creditor article. - BobKilcoyne (talk) 07:14, 15 August 2020 (UTC)

- Support: Since content duplicated. I would suggest the merge be made by a contributor conversant with company law, one of the many subjects that baffled me during my student days of long long ago. The present creditor article mentions UK insolvency. Perhaps someone knowledgeable can illustrate how rights vary across a range of jurisdictions both within various countries and internationally. - Merger complete. I've done the merge simply and am happy for a subject expert to refine in situ. Klbrain (talk) 05:21, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
