Anyone know where we can get the open beta? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.95.92.204 (talk) 20:04, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Currently there is no open beta. This game is only going to be offered in the Asian market. Of course Nexon said if there is enough people interested they may bring it to the western markets. --FrostedBitesCereal (talk) 20:07, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Edits

To the person who recently added a bunch of info: Please organize it a bit better before saving the changes, besides most of it looked like a repeat of the Counter-Strike: Source article and not directly about Counter-Strike: Online --FrostedBitesCereal (talk) 23:52, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Give Me A Break

It's not that easy writing an article. If you can improve it please do so, and hopefully the opinions are positive. It's difficult writing in an encyclopedic style, and no stubbing, especially when there isn't much info to add. Paulalex19 (talk) 22:18, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

give me sum answers

From what I know, this game will be independent from Steam, and would be managed by Nexon. Also will open service only in Asian regions. --Koheiman (talk) 15:43, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

zombie mode?

"zombie mode" is mentioned in the article, but it would be really GREAT if someone would explain WHAT THE FUCK THAT IS!?

Zombie mode is when a group of players, either terrorist or counter-terrorist, have to survive endless hordes of NPCs. Think of it as similar to Nazi Zombies from CoD WaW, or Horde from Gears of War. 76.64.10.167 (talk) 00:17, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
I edited the page to talk about the gameplay modes. I play this game quite a lot and can verify those. Hope it helps Sdblinden (talk) 13:00, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

the link to the portuguese wiki is messed up: it links to the portuguese article about Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, so that's not right. I don't know how to change it, though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.129.181.176 (talk) 20:27, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Is this okay to add to the article?

This is basically an add-on for Counter-Strike 1.6 that adds CSO's models alongside some additional enhancements, like Condition Zero's hostage AI.--70.171.101.118 (talk) 01:48, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Per WP:EL, specifically the "Links normally to be avoided" section, that wouldn't be a good idea. General rule of thumb: Don't link to mods unless you can find notable sources that mention them. For example, Gabe Newell of Valve Software might mention a mod like Counter Strike, but unless you have it from a reliable source that he did, it cannot be included unless it is deemed notable in some other way. Wikipedia has a guideline specifically dealing with sources, by the way: WP:RS. Eik Corell (talk) 04:58, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Info on this game

This game is for Asian players only and is developed by Nexon with oversight from Valve. I'm unsure if it will work in outside of Asia, I don't know anyone else that plays it. If you have any questions, ask. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sdblinden (talkcontribs) 05:48, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

there isn't a single link in the entire Gameplay section. 65.10.106.182 (talk) 06:24, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, it's just from my knowledge. The only links I know are in Chinese, but I guess it's better than nothing... Sdblinden (talk) 13:08, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

"Remake"

In the main passage about this game, it states it is a remake of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. That is untrue. Is there anyway to change that? Sdblinden (talk) 05:02, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, i was just too stupid to press "Edit". It's fine now. Sdblinden (talk) 05:03, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

I noticed that some of the editors are treating the external links as unverifiable info and had to be deleted. The "offending" users in question are also reinstating the links without any notice to the editors(not that i know of), which is actually resulting in edit warring.

The thing is, i can vouch for all of them as accurate, but i understand that Wikipedia might have rules that require it to be formally proven before it can be accepted. The question is, how? 220.255.7.154 (talk) 14:19, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi there, hopefully I can clarify matters and thus avoid further edit warring. There has been a lack of communication here. The issue with the external links section is not verifiability. They don't need "proving" in any way. So here's the thing: We do have guidelines on external link sections, which asks that we keep the number of ELs to a minimum. The videogames wikiproject has, by concensus, expanded on this. Of "appropriate external links", we write: "A video game's official home page (provided by the developer or publisher). Only the English version of the page should be included if there are multiple languages. " - this is why Eik has been removing the links. Marasmusine (talk) 11:25, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Sounds Familiar...

I think some features sound similar to Nexon's Combat Arms game. Such as the zombies infecting someone in 1 hit, the guns, skins, and buying some guns with real money (Such as spending money on NX for special items). I never played Combat Arms in a very long time, but I just want to point this out. --- Andz012 - aka DarkBlu012 (talk) 01:01, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

Reception?

There needs to be a Reception section.

Platform(s)?

Is this a PC game only? Is it available on Steam? Mac? Is it browser-based? Available on PS3? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.164.40.4 (talk) 04:19, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
