Stand-alone article
[edit]Hi Soman, I see you've started this article, I think it's interesting, but, from reading it, it seems to me a topic referable to the Communist Party of Italy (Marxist–Leninist). It seems to be one of the two branches in dispute within the PCdI(m-l), rather than a full-fledged party. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to include this topic on the main page (Communist Party of Italy (Marxist–Leninist))? This kind of topic on a stand-alone page seems to me quite dispersive... - Hi SDC. Apologies for late reply. Whilst there is some material in this article on the lead-up to the December 10, 1968 split (that can be copied into the other article), from December 10, 1968 these were 2 completely distinct parties sharing only a similarity in name. - ... that after the 1968 split in the Communist Party of Italy (Marxist-Leninist), the "Black Line" and "Red Line" groups would engage in acts of violence and vandalism against each other? - @Soman: Article at time of nomination was new enough and long enough. Generally well-referenced, AGF on the offline foreign language source. Hook interesting, though is it possible to abbreviate "Communist Party of Italy (Marxist-Leninist)"? Also QPQ still pending. Juxlos (talk) 10:11, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Juxlos: QPQ now added. The abbreviation would be 'PCd'I(m-l)', which would be somewhat confusing for most readers. Considering that the hook is below 200 characters, I'd keep the full name for context. --Soman (talk) 15:57, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
- OK then. Juxlos (talk) 16:11, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
