Talk:List of reagents

This page was made in response to WikiProject Chemicals' desire for a list of 50 common reagents. I discovered later (on Wikipedia:WikiProject Chemicals/Organization) that they had a specific list already compiled for reagents that were wanted on the list. So I added the wanted reagents to the list I had already made. This resulted in a total of 93 reagents instead of 50. If it needs to be narrowed down than okay, but I think there's more than 50 common reagents anyways. Also, the formatting may need to change as I'm not sure exactly what WP:Chemicals is looking for. Probably should be merged (or totally oxidized)

[edit]

I am sure that this article is well intentioned, but Jeesh its original research or hearsay or wish-list by a wanna-be something or other. I recommend that we see if we can merge with Reagent. Otherwise its risks WP:IINFO. Again, I can see that it is well intentioned. --Smokefoot (talk) 01:19, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Although I think this article is still silly, here are two more similarly silly lists: List of commonly available chemicals, Common chemicals. Oxidation or reduction are still recommended. --Smokefoot (talk) 13:07, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
