Would anyone mind if I added some history of the town of Ciudad Real? I learned alot of it's history while doing my family geneology. While this doesn't make me an expert I would love to add something about the birthplace of my family name. 66.167.42.43 17:23, 17 March 2006 (UTC) Adam Villarreal
- why not on the Ciudad Real the city page? It would be less useful on the Ciudad Real the province page. Like mixing New York City with New York the state. 217.166.94.1 (talk) 13:25, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
MOAR Information PLEASE
[edit]I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out what that exclave is called. It's only coloured on Wikipedia maps. I not only haven't found another map yet online showing that exclave, but Google Maps is also completely useless due to the fact that Ciudad Real to Google always only means the City, not the Province, and anyway it does not show provincial borders, so one can only guess where on that map this mysterious, nameless exclave is. If I only knew the name, I could search for it. The list if municipalities inside the province doesn't help either, as they do not have their own maps. Many Spanish provinces have these mysterious exclaves which makes it hard to tell which part of Spain belongs to which province. Some of them get mentioned on Wikipedia pages and others don't. It sure looks pretty big on the single map. 217.166.94.1 (talk) 13:24, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- The name of the exclave is Anchuras or Rincón de Anchuras (Anchuras is the name of the municipality). See: Anchuras
