Allahabad, India?

[edit]

Would that count too, given that it translates "City of God" in Persian? --GCarty (talk) 17:44, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Promote Augustine to top of page?

[edit]

I keep coming to this page looking for the 5th-century book by St. Augustine of Hippo, which I have not read. I now realize it's the main entry if I include the article "The", at The City of God. I am really not an expert but I feel like it's sufficiently more notable, as a referent of this proper noun, than the other entries, and should maybe be linked as the primary topic at the top of the page. Especially because I think a lot of the other ones are directly or indirectly derived from it. But I didn't make the change because (1) I guess the Old Testament stuff predates it, (2) I don't know how a disambig page primary topic is supposed to work, and (3) I didn't know how the phrase currently in the intro ("the unity between the Holy Roman Empire and the Roman Catholic Church in the Middle Ages") relates to the book. (Like, does that use postdate the book? Is it due to it? Is it what the book is about?) Tophtucker (talk) 06:27, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
