In fact, CHARSOO [(Char Soo-4 SIDES viz roads towards Sgr. Anantnag, Tral and Pulwama vide Ghat Tokana )]a famous village of the area situated at Srinagar Jammu NH1A near Awantipora Town of District Pulwama where from a Kashmiri well known saint ANWAR SAHAB (RA) belong.His graveyard is situated near Jammu & Kashmir NHIA at main Bus stop Charsoo popularly Known as Ramzan Maman Boon. There are 7 Govt, schools and 1 english medium school working to create moral values among young kids.Few personalities of the village are Rtd. Masters known as Master Ab Gani Paray, Master Azim-u- din Bhat, Master Muhmmad Afzal Beigh, Master Ab Rasheed Reshi , Mr Muhammad Akram Bhat rtd. ZEO, Master Gh Muhammad Bhat , Ali Muhammad Raahi(BDO) Dr. Rafeeq Ahmad (London). Gh Hassan Parray Rtd. Assistant Labour Commissioner etc.There are large no. of AEE's or JE's. But Roads of the village need major repairment . Muhammad sideeq Bhat really a well wisher of the area had a great contribution to the village in the shape of Awantipora kanal which resulted a high yeild of crops especially Paddy which was a big achievement and is. A building constructed for Health Deptt.under Trama needs speedy attention and financial support . Building is almost complete but residential quarters are still awaited. Hospital should be made functional as for as possible.Girl students demand for up- gradation of High School to Higher secondary school so that poor students may not have to burden of bus fares and can continue upto higher secondary level

They do not prefer their nearest higher secondary HSS Noorpora. Thus no effect on HHS Noorpora is expected. 12 Remarks /Specific demand The Girls students mostly belong to Poor families do not continue their studies because of security and economic reasons as their parents are unable to afford their expenditure. If the school is upgraded to the status of Higher Secondary level 100% chances are their continuation. Keeping in view the Roll, feasibility, location ,feeding schools of the High school Charsoo ,its infrastructure and land available. The School namely High School Chersoo has been upgraded to Higher Secondary School Charsoo on 28/2/2019 in a SAC meet and orders in this behalf stands issued on March 6 2019 vide order no :-117 Edu of 2019 in anexure A figuring at serial 54. As a result the villagers are highly thank full to the departmental officers from ZEO office to Secretariat level especially Khursheed Ahmad Ganie ( Advisor G along with Hon"ble Governor administration. it is necessary to mention here that due to efforts/collaboration of Chairman VDC Charsoo Mr Gh nabi Reshi along Secretary Gh Muhammad Bhat and Data Operator Assadullah such mile stone has been installed in the History of CHARSOO.

.Paddy is the common agricultural product of the village but a large no. of people are attached with Bat industries.A big market is situated at Srinagar Jammu highway.A bridge was recently constructed over River Jhelun Passing nearby to connect Charsoo with Ghat Tokana to Pulwama ( a long pending demand got fulfilled) but yet the physical features of the village are not .It is necessary to mention here that more than 2800 electors have the right to vote in the upcoming elections 2014 out of near about 4000 population.Department of election has appointed 4 Booth Level Officers for four elections booths for preparation & distribution of EPICS @ 31-87 Mr Khursheed Ahmad Wani, 31-88 Mr Muhammad Firdous Parray ,31-89 Bilal Ahmad Bhat and 31-106 Mr Bashir Ahmad Bhat. All 4 BLO's Belong to parental Organization Deptt. Of Education and have good contribution for solving the problems of residents of village Charsoo.
