I began with this article and followed it through 300 years of history on the British Peerage and found most (if not all) of the articles linked by a common case of either wooden language, weasel words, and or a theme of non sequitur. Rather than attach these labels to these articles, I am going to be editing them as time permits. Should any of the editors on these articles be available, I would appreciate some assistance.Cillmore (talk) 18:23, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is he or is he not? How is a person "perhaps" one thing or another? Where does one begin? At the beginning or perhaps the end?Cillmore (talk) 18:27, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article

[edit]

Coming back this article looks skewed towards cricket! I can't find any reference to his cricket except a line in DNB. Needs recasting to show his public life - the cricket was not that important if one goes by DNB. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.144.211.182 (talk) 08:18, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you but the converse is that he was very important in the history of cricket. The article needs attention from someone with interest in politics or peerage. So far, it is effectively the cricket project only that has developed it. Would you be interested in using the DNB to expand the political aspect? ----Jack | talk page 16:10, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
