Link to WW2 lineage?
[edit]I'm prepared to delete the whole section about CarDiv 5's activities during WW2 and before because I've been able to find no reliable source (whatever that NAO 1955 source listed actually is) that says that the modern unit is a descendant of the WW2 unit. I thought I'd canvass for some opinions first before I do so.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 20:29, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
About forward deployed naval units
[edit]I am personally more concerned with the bottom section, "about forward deployed naval units". Aside from being irrelevant and immaterial to the specific group's article, it reads more like a USN propaganda piece than a reference entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.99.249.30 (talk) 02:35, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

Tables w/ columns for hull numbers
[edit]I would like to adjust the tables in this article (example below) to eliminate the column for the hull numbers, and have the hull numbers be reflected in the same column as the ship name, using the ship template.
Insignia | Name | Hull Number | Class |
---|---|---|---|
USS George Washington | CVN 73 | Nimitz-class aircraft carrier |
Any concerns about this, let's discuss. KConWiki (talk) 18:02, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
