I'm not sure if I can post discussions here... Am I correct? Please redirect me to the appropriate section and forgive me if I did the wrong thing...

Can we have the "date" for the Carnaval of Oruro? When is it???

Indeed, the article should be merged into the bigger one. the date of the Carnaval of Oruro is actually a period of 10 days before Ash Wednesday (which roughly started on any Sunday between Jan 25 and Feb 28 (or 29 during Leap Year), and ends before Ash Wednesday). The fact that this article said that the carnaval started 8 days before Ash Wednesday signifies that there may be some variation. I will leave this to somebody who have more knowledge about the festival. Rochelimit (talk) 02:01, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good morning I activated my participation on this article to improve it, the data you'll add 90% will be information that the association of folk ensembles of Oruro sent to UNESCO about the carnival. Also suggest a change in the title of the article to "Oruro Carnival. " Greetings to all publishers. --Nair (talk) 16:52, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
