Not done: Please detail what you would like changed and provide relaible sources for any factual changes. Thanks, Celestra (talk) 00:08, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
Your article mentions Young Artist for Haiti covered "Wavin' Flag" by "Canadian Rapper" K'Naan, it's well know that K'Naan is a native of Mogadishu, Somalia, you should correct this.
Age
So... are we going to talk about her being both in both 1974 and 1985, or are we just going to leave it like that forever? 74.161.128.186 (talk) 18:33, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
- Wikipedia? Could be leave it like that forever. Or could be an 'editor' gets a bee in his inflate sense of self-importance. Perhaps this might prompt a rennes before your question reaches it's first birthday...? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.159.111.8 (talk) 23:13, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

Her birthday is actually November 21st, not the 20th, can someone change this?

Jepsen, 26, has been criticized in the press for dressing "too young" for her age in an effort to appeal to the pre-teen demographic.[1][2]

Jepsen, 26, has been criticized in the press for dressing "too young" for her age in an effort to appeal to the pre-teen demographic.[3][4]
This is quoting an opinion that is not factual and is hurtful to the artist. If you are going to publish opinions then you need to publish rebuttals. I personally think that anyone who can get away with dressing younger than they actually are should durn well do it. She obviously is young enough looking to get away with it. Everyone whom I have asked has said they thought she was 14 to 16. Go Carly Rae!
- Your opinion that this is "an opinion that is not factual and is hurtful to the artist" is just that: not factual and an opinion. Are we playing, "My opinion is bigger than yours"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.159.111.8 (talk) 23:15, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

The name of her record label is spelled incorrectly three times in the article (twice in the text and once in the infobox). It's "School Boy" Records, not "Schoolboy". See School Boy Records and the label's website, http://www.scooterbraun.com/index.html#schoolboy.html if you need verification.
Also, a grammar correction is needed, as follows. Change "MMVA's awards" to "MuchMusic Video Awards" in the sentence: "On June 17th, 2012 Jepsen performed "Call Me Maybe" at the 2012 MMVA's awards and later on she dueted "Wild Ones" with Flo Rida." 76.189.105.63 (talk) 14:24, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

The 'Curiosity and Kiss' section of her biography could be edited to include a link to the Wikipedia page for her Kiss album.

One hit wonder
She should be included on 'one hit wonders' category, shouldn't she? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.0.152.34 (talk) 14:08, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
- Not sure if that's appropriate for someone at the beginning of their career. And we'd need reliable sources calling her that. --NeilN talk to me 14:37, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
- Not to mention that the success of "Good Time" should prevent her from ever being associated with such a label, even if it wasn't quite as successful as "Call Me Maybe". Acalamari 15:08, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
Ancestry
She has Swedish roots, not Danish. Her aunt is my therapist, and she is from Sweden. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.180.185.210 (talk) 17:22, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- To add that information about her ancestry, you need to provide a reliable source. At present, your information is original research. Thanks. Acalamari 17:35, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
Birthdate and sources
The article says she was born in November 21, 1985. However, to prove this, it cites http://www.capitalfm.com/summertime-ball/carly-rae-jepsen/, which actually says "November 20". A google search gives many hits saying "November 20", but almost all are tertiary sources, that aren't reliable, and probably got their information from Wikipedia (many hits are actual mirrors of this article). I haven't edited it, because Nov. 21 seems correct, but we really should have a reliable source, or should not show the exact day. --Rob (talk) 17:48, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

Under the "Carly Rae Jepsen#2011–13: Curiosity, mainstream success and Kiss" section, remove the vandalism content (emphasis added):
"In June, 2012, Jepsen appeared on the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to sing 'Call Me Maybe.' (The performance had very probably been recorded earlier.) Jimmy Fallon and his house band The Roots played children's classroom instruments and Jimmy sang along with Jepsen.[18]"
174.112.177.36 (talk) 02:42, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
- Not done The Youtube video of Jepsen's duet with Fallon says, in the description supplied by the show, "Backstage before the show ...". It is reasonable to say, therefore, that it was recorded before the show was aired. In fact, it should be stated as fact (i.e., only the words "very probably" should be removed.) Just one problem with this ... Jimmy Fallon was hosting Late Night in 2012, and didn't take over The Tonight Show until 2014. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.197.253.7 (talk) 20:04, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

The second sub-header "Curiosity, internacional success and Kiss" should read "Curiosity, international success and Kiss". Just a simple typo, but don't have an account unfortunately. Thanks in advance. 128.227.114.195 (talk) 04:22, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
