APPTIX Can't Find Client Data
[edit]Below is a brief history of a problem we encountered with APPTIX. This is just my opinion, use the information in conjunction with your own research to draw your own conclusions.
I have been an APPTIX client for several years. Never had a problem until one day I walked into the office and received a call from the staff that my APPTIX site disappeared.
I called APPTIX to report the problem which they responded that they couldn't find the site. I directed them to the URL and my credit card statement showing how they were billing me. They then began to try and find the site and the data. Over a 2 week period they did not follow up. Finally after repeated calls , sitting on hold for an hour and 10 minutes they granted my request to speak to a supervisor named Steve Hamilton. They assigned me a very pleasant point person by the name of Jim Bell who became very proficient at telling me there has not been an update by the tech even though this was being supposedly elevated to Critical Status. It's been 4 whole days since Jim has had any word from the tech. As of this writing they still cannot find 3 years worth of critical data which THEY admitted they deleted on their end.
So let's get this straight:
1) They deleted my APPTIX site 2) They deleted all of the Data Contained in the site 3) There back up system thus far has failed since they cannot locate the data or the site even though I had a data trail from the site itself. 4) The communication between the company, their operations tech, and my company has been embarrassingly poor.
Certainly you may draw your own conclusions. Please be warned prior to doing business with these folks as I seriously call into question their systems, their product, and ultimately their competency . This is just my opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.183.47.29 (talk) 13:57, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
